Kratos Defense and Rocket Support Services is currently seeking a Senior Radar Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA. This role is contingent upon award of contract. Specialized Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following specific knowledge areas (as stated in the technical instruction):
• Radio frequency hardware design and/or fabrication
• Demonstrated knowledge of antenna engineering
• Demonstrated knowledge of signal processing and Electronic Protection (a.k.a. Counter-Counter Measures)
• Demonstrated experience and ability to perform detailed and complex calculations and knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced radar and/or EO/IR systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration;
• Program/project level engineering experience in major sensor systems.
• Solid technical background as demonstrated by certifiable experience formulating opinions, decisions and ultimate performance of the tasks specified in a contract statement of work.
• Demonstrated capability in packaging and communicating data products for effective communication (i.e. putting together information suitable for a Senior Executive Service/Flag-level Briefing).

General Experience Required:

• Minimum fifteen (15) years since award of Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum twelve (12) years since award of Master’s degree
• Minimum eight (8) years since award of Ph.D degree

Education/Professional Certifications:Must meet one or more of the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree from a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineering curriculum in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering; or A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics
• A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics
• A Ph.D degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics.
