Krasinski AFC Home & JubeJu SIP Homes are looking for a dedicated, hardworking individual with a passion for caretaking. Must be compassionate, hardworking, ethical.

Direct Care Staff responsibilities include: working with adults that have developmental disabilities and/or mental illness, transporting consumers to appointments and activities, assist with meal planning, prepping, cooking and cleaning. Hands-on assistance such as help with mobility, transferring, bathing and grooming will be required as well as lifting consumers and heavy objects. Staff is responsible for assisting consumers work toward their designated goals, such as getting a job or living on their own.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE REQUIRED.

Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions related to the care and supervision of consumers.

Must have neat and professional appearance.

Must possess good communication skills and be able to document adequately.

Must have a caring and understanding attitude.

Must pass a physical and TB test.

Must have obtained a High School Diploma or GED.

SCCMHA training is REQUIRED, training will be provided.

Must be flexible in availability to days/nights, rotating weekends and 10 and 12 hour shifts. Schedule is done monthly, and shifts may vary between 1st & 3rd.
