The Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for supporting mechanics and repairs for the company’s trailers, MHE and building by scheduling equipment for services, maintaining repair records, ordering parts, including their shipping, and receiving, and inventory cycle counting. It requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask, as emergency repairs and immediate parts acquisition will be required. Excellent interpersonal skills are required, as you will be interfacing with various departments, including external vendors and repair teams, to keep our operation running smoothly. Maintaining PM and repair records and verifying they are up-to-date and organized is critical to the success of our business.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains consistent stock of inventory, for parts trailers, MHE and building needs
• Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items.
• Provides inventory reports to maintenance manager.
• Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.
• Maintains accurate daily records of repairs made and needed.
• Creates a schedule for all PM’s and repairs
• Works with transportation and operations for all PM scheduling needed on trailers and MHE equipment
• Ensures that all work orders are in the system with accuracy.
• Provides leadership with updates on equipment out of service
• Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
