This position is responsible for shipping and receiving product in a timely manner, checking incoming and outgoing products, verifying quantities, and entering shipping and receiving dates in the computer. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8:30 am – 5 pm. There is opportunity for this position to become full-time, permanent within the first 6 months of employment.What will your job look like?- Ensure all product is accounted for in computer system and always placed in its proper warehouse location.- Prepare and ship domestic and international product; ensuring procedures are followed to include proper documentation and accuracy of paperwork.- Ensure accurate and timely shipping and receiving of product, including product returns and warehouse transfers.- Operate mobile equipment and perform necessary maintenance as required. - Maintain accurate records of Inventory counts and disposals.- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.Requirements:- High School Diploma or GED- 2 years of related experience, with small team, preferred.- Ability to write business correspondence, summary reports, and effectively present information and respond to questions. - Proficient PC skills including e-mail, recordkeeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.A big advantage: - Ability to work independently and on a team.- Strong problem-solving skills.
