The Core Backend Tests Engineering team is looking for a Software Development Engineer who has a strong passion for test engineering and tooling. You will form part of a small team dedicated to building tools and services that enable a growing team of engineers to scale their work with confidence. We work closely with backend and test engineers to drive development experience by building test, monitoring and diagnostics tools.

About You:

If you're an experienced engineer with a deep understanding of systems programming, excited to dive into Rust on the job (if you have not already), and have a keen interest in building tools that will not only improve service and code quality, but also enhance developer experience. Then this role is for you!

What you will do

Design and implementation of testing, diagnostics and monitoring tools in Rust
Build and manage continuous testing pipelines
Learn and understand the business domain and application architecture
Writing modular, reusable, testable Rust code

Who you are

Strong passion for, and understanding of the crypto industry
Experience programming in system languages such as C , C, Go, Rust. (Rust strongly preferred)
Experience in asynchronous programming
Have a proactive, self-driven mindset
Passionate development experience
Proficient in Git workflows
Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field, or equivalent experience

Nice to have

Experience building tools, and libraries
Have open source contributions
Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with deployment using Docker and Kubernetes
Practical experience implementing telemetry in services
Experience with distributed systems, SQL, Redis and Kafka
