We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Solar Consultant to join our team!
As a Solar Consultant, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling solar energy solutions to residential and commercial customers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about renewable energy and want to make a positive impact on the environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and target markets
- Generate leads through various channels, including door-to-door sales, referrals, and networking
- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and our company's products and services
- Conduct in-depth consultations with customers to assess their energy needs and provide customized solar solutions
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective customers
- Utilize Salesforce or other CRM systems to track leads, manage customer information, and monitor sales activities
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and financing options with customers
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
Skills
- Proven experience in sales or customer service roles
- Strong knowledge of the solar energy industry and market trends - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively engage with customers in a door-to-door sales environment
- Proficiency in using Salesforce or other CRM systems for lead management
- Strong negotiation skills to close deals and secure contracts
- Previous experience in energy sales or solar sales is highly desirable
