Title: Superintendent
Location: Beverly Hills, CA
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience working as a Superintendent and/or General Superintendent
- Background overseeing the development of multi-family structures such as units, dorms, condos, senior living, etc.
- Experience building and overseeing type II, III, IV, and/or V podium deck development
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that construction is carried out according to building codes and standards, which may require working with architects and engineers
- Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets specifications and standards, as well as identifying areas that need improvement
- Scheduling and coordinating workers to ensure they have the materials they need to complete their tasks
- Assigning and overseeing workers who assist in the construction process, including laborers, masons, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and engineers
- Communicating with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Maintaining records of materials used in construction projects for accounting purposes
- Reviewing plans, designs, and other documents to determine if they meet industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements
- Managing the bidding process for new projects, negotiating contracts with contractors and suppliers, and overseeing the bidding process until contracts are awarded
