KPC Promise Hospital of BATON ROUGE: The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, organizes, and administers physical therapy services in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, regulations and guidelines to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is rendered at all times. The physical therapist maintains informative, accurate, and timely documentation and records management and works collaboratively with all disciplines, adheres to the professional standards of practice guidelines and code of ethics as set forth by the state board of physical therapy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physical: Walking - up to 50% Standing - up to 50% Kneeling - up to 50%
Sitting- up to 25% Pushing - up to 50% Bending - up to 50%
Squatting - up to 30% Pulling - up to 50% Reaching - up to 25%
Lifting - up to 100lbs Wrist/Finger Movements - up to 90%
Mental: Stress Level: Moderate
EXPOSURE RISK: Category I - Jobs in which required tasks routinely involve a potential for mucous membranes or skin contact with blood, body fluids, tissues or potential spills or splashes. Use of appropriate measures is required for every healthcare provider in these jobs.
