The Role:
TheProgram Management Executive – Finance Projectsrole is focused on leading project management teams to improve data and technology solutions to improve financial regulatory reporting data and strategic reporting platforms. The Program Management Executive is accountable for establishing governance and routines to bring stakeholders together to ensure progress toward common goal and appropriately managing/escalating risks as they arise.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively build program structures, project plans, and governance routines to facilitate the end to end program management of highly complex and enterprise wide initiatives
- Consensus building with Front Office, Data, and Technology executives across all lines of business and support areas
- Managing team of project managers that support multiple projects & workstreams
- Mange reporting routines with senior executives and prepare all reporting documentation. Must have the ability to convey complicated messages in easy to understand materials
- Coordinate with LOB & Data Management Executives to ensure key milestones and tollgates are met on time/on budget
Requirements
- 10 years’ experience in Financial Services / Finance Transformation
- 5 years’ experience in leading a team of Business Analysts / Project Managers
- 5 years’ experience navigating change within regulatory environment
- A proven record of developing creative solutions to complex problems, challenging the status quo, and advocating for change
- Ability to effectively prioritize work, efficiently manage multiple deliverables and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders with divergent views to develop common solutions
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with senior leaders and proven ability to develop executive communications and presentations
Desired Skills and Experience:
- MBA Preferred
- PMP or Six Sigma Certification
