The Role:
The E&I Technicianbased at our plant in Augusta, GA, you will perform planned maintenance tasksfree of injury and assembly or modification of equipment within specification(Electrical, Instrumental & Control and Mechanical).
This role will performpreventive maintenance, repairs, and modifications at our chemicalmanufacturing plant.
Responsibilitiesinclude:
o Ability to work safelyand independently, pay attention to detail, and follow all Life SavingRules, Corporate SHE procedures, and Augusta site safety procedures.
o Knowledge ofindustrial electrical equipment.
o Efficiently andaccurately perform general skilled maintenance tasks.
o Develop anunderstanding of the mechanical operations of the site-specific manufacturingequipment and processes.
o Troubleshootmechanical and electrical problems, provide solutions, and implement.
o Work well in a teamorientated environment.
o Communicate and workwell across all functions within and outside manufacturing.
o Basic knowledge ofcomputers, PLC’s, DCS system (DeltaV preferred), and programmable controllers.
o Knowledge of controlsand control wiring.
o Coordinate and supportactivities executed by contractors – ensure work is performed to safety and quality standards.
o Repair damaged orbroken equipment to manufacturer’s recommendations.
o Computer literacy –able to perform site specific online training and work in CMMS System(Computerized Maintenance Management System) - Open and close work requests,enter mechanic time, and ensure proper supply of spare parts.
o For continuousimprovement – complete 2 job related trainings a year.
o Participate onimprovement team(s).
o Flexibility to acceptnew responsibilities and / or expectations as business focus changes.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years ofplant maintenance experience.
• Experience inconfiguration, calibration, installation, application, maintenance, and/ortroubleshooting industrial instrumentation is required.
Preferred Requirements:
• 5 years’ experience
• Associate degree(A.A., A.S.) from a two-year community college or technical school with anemphasis in instrumentation or equivalent experience.
• A valid stateJourneyman's license is preferred but not required
• Requirements of SafeWork Permit system
• Reasonably effectivewritten and verbal communication with co-workers and area supervisors
• Documentation ofMaintenance Procedures and PM check sheets
• Flexibility inaccepting new responsibilities and/or expectations as business focus changes
