The Role:

The Client Account executive will provide strategic leadership to ensure client satisfaction and account retention. The ideal candidate will be a strategic-minded leader together with entrepreneurial spirit, and able to merge the clients’ vision and expectations into our mission of providing outstanding quality of life services.

 

The position will be responsible for 150 employees at this 637 bed, 14 million dollar managed budget account. As the Client Executive you will be responsible for all aspects of the following (including but not limited to) Operational Budgets and high quality client and stakeholder communications. Holding yourself and others accountable for quality assurance inspections, all regulatory compliance, staff training, payroll, scheduling, rounding, patient / customer satisfaction, and leading the Food and Nutrition Department. This position also manages additional retail locations on the property as well as having oversight of the Corporate Headquarters unit.

 

In this highly visible lead role, you will direct and participate in all of the daily food contract operations for their full-service Cafe, Catering, Vending and (AYR) At your Request Patient Meal delivery services. Responsibilities will include: working with unit financials/budgets, HR functions, marketing, strategic planning, maintaining quality assurance and compliance, training, cash management and direct client interaction.

 

Experience in driving patient satisfaction results is key. TheClient Executive will be fully responsible for the quality and financial performance of the department. Strong client and labor relations experience is a must. Experience with new retail installations and project management a plus. Successful candidates will have strong catering, retail experience and have a proven track record in delivering on the patient experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to excel in highly matrix organization and effective team builder. C-suite presence and acumen is differentiator in this role
  •  Executes strategic plan by implementing short and long-term goals that align with the scope of service, mission and values.
  • Develops a business plan and budget that supports client and goals.
  • Reviews and analyzes financial statements and data, operating reports, budget variance reports, and other appropriate financial information to monitor attainment of financial goals.
  • Provides positive and constructive feedback to employees by coaching, mentoring, counseling or corrective guidance and action, as appropriate.
  • Reviews and maintains reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations and Client policies and procedures.
  • Leads all operational plan projects, implement new processes and technology, and to ensure sufficient unit resources.
  • Ensures a safe work environment for employees by enforcing the execution of all safety programs and makes recommendations for changes as necessary.
  • Assesses financial risk and opportunities of the account and communicates results to the client and senior management, initiates action plans as necessary.

The ideal candidate:

  • has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
  • has culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
  • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
  • can demonstrate working knowledge of Food Management Systems (FMS) and The Market Connection (TMC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.
