The Pre-Admission Testing RN, LPN, MA acts as patient advocate, providing continuity of care designed to meet individual patient needs through collaboration with other members of the health care team at OSCI.

Job Qualifications:

• Highly motivated and ability to multitask efficiently under demanding situations.
• Knowledge of all aspects of surgical procedures and ability to provide superior patient care.
• ACLS/PALS/BLS on hire of within 90 days of hire
• 1-3 years of experience in healthcare

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Call all patients before surgery to obtain health history and medications.
• Coordinate care with anesthesia personnel.
• Obtain records from patients Primary Care Physicians and specialists.
• Develops, discusses, and communicates a realistic problem list (plan of care) for each patient, in collaboration with each patient, family, and significant other in order to address all identified needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of Outpatient surgery center experience
• 1-3 years of Ophthalmology experience
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with Current IL RN license
• Spanish-speaker
