Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Navigation and Compliance: Follow instructions, utilizing location and road maps to navigate routes. Adhere to truck driving rules and regulations, including size, weight, route designations, and compliance with parking and break periods.
• Pre-Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-inspection of the truck, equipment, and loads before departure to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Load Verification: Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as per instructions.
• Safe Cargo Handling: Safely load and unload cargo and equipment, following proper procedures to prevent damage or accidents.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Take responsibility for basic vehicle maintenance, addressing any issues promptly to ensure the truck's optimal performance.
• Paperwork Accuracy: Complete and verify all required paperwork for accuracy, including delivery receipts and other relevant documentation.
• Refueling: Perform refueling of construction field equipment as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly comply with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
• Incident Reporting: Report any defects, accidents, or violations immediately to the appropriate authorities and supervisors.
