KOST USA is looking for a Dock Coordinator to join our team! We are looking for a self-motivated, professional, and organized individual who enjoys detailed work and a fast-paced environment. This position is critical to our operation and is an integral part of the Distribution, Inventory and Warehouse team.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

Maintain a manual dock scheduling system based on yard/dock door capacity.
Work closely with the distribution team to schedule all inbound/outbound loads based on available capacity.
Follow up with carriers/customers to ensure all appointment times are met – prepaid or CPU
Record and report on time pickup of all LTL and FTL shipments.
Support the distribution and shipping team as required.
Coordinate all aspects of routing, shipping, logging, and tracking of inbound and outbound orders.
Contact trucking partners for freight pick-up and ensures that cargo is routed appropriately.
Communicates changes to routing and timelines.
Prepares and processes bills of lading (BOL) and other shipping documentation.
Other duties may be assigned.

Required Experience:

Warehouse and shipping experience required.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain forklift training and certification required.
An associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
High attention to detail and clear written communication is required.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to walk on concrete surfaces. The Team Member will work in a warehouse environment and will be exposed to ambient temperatures. They may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
