SUMMER HIGH SCHOOL INTERNSHIP - ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

7 Week Program: June 6 - July 24 (Week of July 4th off)

Part Time: 20 hours per week

$10.00 per hour

Applications accepted through May 5th, Must be 16 years old by June 5th to apply

Responsibilities:

• Assists with maintaining health center facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition to provide a suitable environment for patient, staff, and visitors.
• Use cleaning supplies and equipment as an essential part of the position.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Maintains a positive attitude in promoting the hospital's mission, philosophy, purpose and high standards of health care to our customers.
• Maintains security, privacy and confidentiality of patient health information according to HIPPA guidelines and computer security guidelines.
• Supports and abides by all organizational, departmental and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• Performs other duties as requested.
