Kosnoski Eye Care is Hiring an Optometric Technician Near Puyallup, WA

Kosnoski Eye Care is a multi-location practice which has been providing the highest level of primary eye care for over 50 years.

We are looking for a friendly, efficient and detail oriented Optometric Technician. The Optometric Technician will be responsible for pre-testing all patients prior to the doctor's exam. All contact lens orders, dispensing and training will also be a part of the Optometric Technician's duties.

Team members may be asked to work at a different location (as needed, and typically with advance notice).

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

  • Enter/Review patient history in patient management system
  • Pre-Testing patients prior to doctor's exam
  • Assist doctor when necessary
  • Maintain exam rooms (supplies/cleaning)
  • Training new contact lens wearing patients
  • Ordering/Maintaining contact lens orders for patients and office trials

Skills:

  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Calm under pressure and is able to multi-task
  • Experience in patient and/or customer service
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Efficient computer usage
  • Timeliness - to keep the patient flow moving throughout the day

Job Type: Full-time

Starting Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour (DOE)

As we are a multi-location practice, there may be times where it is requested you work in one of our other locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
