LT Apparel, the licensee for adidas & Carhartt Kids, is a leading apparel company known for design and manufacturing children’s apparel. We are searching for a talented and detail-oriented Technical Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in transforming creative visions into high-quality, functional garments for our renowned children's lines.
Assist Carhartt Director for the following:
  • Collaborate with designers to translate sketches and design concepts into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical packages (tech packs) including garment construction details, measurements, graded specifications, technical sketches, and bills of materials.
  • Utilize a strong understanding of garment construction methods, fit, and patternmaking principles to ensure designs are feasible for production.
  • Create accurate technical drawings and flats using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
  • Analyze samples, identify potential production issues, and propose solutions to maintain design integrity and quality.
  • Communicate effectively with sample makers, factories, and vendors to ensure accurate production according to specifications.
  • Ensure vendors/factories are following standard blocks to achieve consistent size and fit across the line.
  • Manage and track samples throughout the development process, adhering to deadlines and budgets.
  • Stay current with fashion trends, garment construction techniques, and industry best practices.

What you bring:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as an Apparel Technical Designer.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and patternmaking principles.
  • Proficiency in fashion design software (e.g., Accumark, Adobe Illustrator, Fashion PLM)
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for fashion and a strong understanding of current trends in children's wear (a plus).
