Koniag Professional Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an ACAT/MDAP Acquisition SME with a Secret Clearance to support KPS and our customer in the Pentagon. This is a hybrid on/offsite position.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Conduct, and document analysis of Army Acquisition Community Programs
  • Provide acquisition program analysis, reporting and policy/regulatory formulation for all Major Capability of Acquisition (MCA), Middle Tier of Acquisition (MTA), Defense Business System (DBS), Software Pathway (SWP), and Urgent Capability Acquisition (UCA) pathways.
  • Support emerging reporting requirements, metrics collection, and data planning for programs of all above listed pathways.
  • Research data deviations, identify root cause, and recommend remediation.
  • Support the Defense Acquisition Visibility Environment (DAVE) system and the Army Program Manager Resource Tools (PMRT) system and any evolution of Army and OSD technology used to capture program data for all Army acquisition activities.
  • Participate in the testing and functional oversight of reporting software systems and develop and submit system change proposals.
  • Assist in acquisition reporting, policy formulation and the collection, analysis, and evaluation of the Army’s reporting requirements.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree and Eight (8) plus years of experience in planning and administering policies, activities, and procedures within an Army Acquisition organization.
  • Ability to assess large-scale projects and provide high-quality analysis.
  • Ability to assess changes in statutory laws and regulatory policies, develop processes and write policy.
  • DAWIA Advanced Program Management certification (desired).
  • Possess advanced management, analytical, technical and communications skills.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Defense Acquisition workforce and programs.
  • Two years recent experience managing ACAT I Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Execution (PPBE), Congressional and Nunn McCurdy reporting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven rapport with executive-level senior leaders
  • Secret Security Clearance
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
