Eagle Harbor Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is hiring a Special Access Program Control Specialist. Position requires an active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI/Poly. We are currently seeking a Special Access Program Control Specialist to fill this critical role overseeing, managing, and safeguarding our client's Special Access Programs (SAPs). Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage access to SAPs, including the granting and revocation of security clearances.
  • Verify and validate security clearances for personnel assigned to SAPs.
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulations and organizational policies regarding SAP access.
  • Establish and maintain strict control over SAP-related documents, files, and materials.
  • Implement secure storage, handling, and dissemination of classified information within SAPs.
  • Develop and enforce document control policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular security audits and inspections to ensure adherence to SAP security protocols.
  • Identify and rectify security vulnerabilities or non-compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to maintain program integrity.
  • Provide SAP security briefings and training to personnel with access to SAPs.
  • Ensure that all individuals involved in SAPs are aware of their responsibilities and the associated security requirements.
  • Respond to security incidents or breaches within SAPs promptly and effectively.
  • Report incidents to the appropriate authorities and assist in investigations.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of government regulations and policies related to Special Access Programs.
  • Strong understanding of security clearance processes and requirements.
  • Previous experience in security, access control, or a related field, preferably in a government or defense-related context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Washington, DC.
Clearance Required:
Position requires an active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI/Poly. Position requires SSBI/T5 investigation within the past 52 months.
Working Environment & Conditions:
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
