About the Opportunity:
•Job Title: Mold Maker
•Pay: $35/Hour
•Location: New Brighton, MN
•Schedule: 2nd Shift, Mon-Fri 3PM-11PM with required O/T
Daily functions:

Safely build, restore, alter, and service top quality molds and related tooling in the most effective and efficient manner

Operate all machines, manual and CNC, safely to build molds and related tooling.

Develop the proper sequence necessary to build molds most efficiently.

Identify problems when analyzing drawings and recommend alterations which would create a more cost-effective process.

Complete proper paperwork to track labor costs in the Tool Room

Coordinate the use of outside services as is required for wire EDM, jig grind, etc.

Train other Mold makers by preparing the worker, demonstrating the operation, observing the worker perform the operation and following up.

Work with other Mold makers on team projects

Maintain clean machines, equipment, and organized work areas.

Responsibility to protect confidential information and Intellectual Property

Follow safety requirements as outlined in the safety manual.

Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Desired qualifications:

Previous experience in mold making.

Minimum 18-month vocational diploma in Machining, Tool & Die, or Mold making preferred.

Physical requirements:

Lifting 75lbs

Bending and walking

20/20 Vision with or without corrective lenses
