Position Title: CNC Machinist
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Operate one of several machines, including but not limited to CNC lathes, or CNC machining centers for production of products including shafts, wheels, pinions/gears, drums, sheaves, and related machined crane components.
Principal Responsibilities:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: General knowledge of tooling applications and shop practices. Possess general machinist tools and related equipment. General computer knowledge: Outlook, browsing, and basic data entry.
Other Requirements: Able to work within tolerance requirements and perform visual inspection. Able to use required hand tools, precision measuring instruments, etc. Able to work from detailed drawings, blueprints, prints, work orders, etc.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
