POSITION TITLE: Inside Sales- Agreement

REPORTS TO: Sales and Operations Development Manager

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meeting assigned sales targets for agreement-based services and new business development
  • Taking existing funnels from vacant territories and closing open offers to new agreement customers.
  • Calling customers from a list of target accounts provided by Sales and Operational Development Manager or developed by the vacant representative to further pursue new agreement.
  • Conduct frequent and regular follow up contact for all open sales cases. Assign any sales cases that require customer site visits to the designated sales resource.
  • Maintain customer and contact information in the CRM software, as required. Ensure strict compliance with all requirements of the Contract Retention policy.
  • Qualify all new prospects for credit worthiness. Check D&B ratings and obtain credit application, if appropriate. Obtain tax-exempt certificate, if required.
  • Maintain the sales funnel according to the established KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) for Funnel Quality Reporting. Provide other reports to management as requested.
  • Primary activities include:
    • Calling customers
    • Adjusting sales offers
    • Acquiring necessary forms for customer set up
    • Maintaining CRM funnel quality
    • Prepare or assist in developing price estimates for agreement using established worksheets, guidelines, and input from the agreement specialist department.
    • Assist in other customer relations or collection efforts. It may be required to support in customer collection issues or other customer relationship management.
    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in service-related sales preferred however equivalent education, experience and training will be considered.

Must have demonstrated leadership experience, a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.

Experience meeting monthly minimum sales quotas and CRM funnel size.

OTHER EXPERIENCE:

Good written and verbal communication skills

Good PC skills

Prior experience with cranes is a plus.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree preferred however, prior equivalent experience and training will be considered in lieu of formal degree.
