The Removal Technician position in the Upfit Department at Kona Ice offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to join a company with immense growth potential. As a Removal Technician, you will be an integral part of the upfit process, working with the team to retrofit Kona Ice trucks every 7 years to bring them up to current company standards. This hands-on role involves de-wrapping, de-gluing, and removing various components from the Kona trucks, as well as prepping parts during any downtime, and learning valuable new skills in the departmen. Responsibilities:

• De-wrap and de-glue KEVs, following established procedures
• Remove menus, latches, fins, lights, wheel trim, fin brackets, front grill, flasher lights, KMP hardware, mirrors, and antenna from KEVs according to provided instructions.
• Ensure the careful handling and safe storage of removed components to prevent damages or loss.
• Maintain an organized inventory of removed components and label them for easy identification during reinstallation.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Prepare and clean removed components during any downtime in accordance with established procedures.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Actively participate in training programs and seek opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in assembly, disassembly, or automotive-related work is advantageous but not required.
• A strong willingness to learn and grow within a company with significant growth potential.
• Demonstrated drive, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Attention to detail and a focus on maintaining high-quality work standards.

Physical Requirements:
