We are currently in search of an experienced Full Time (1st Shift) Clinic Technician for our Elkton, MD location. The Clinic Technician position at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and all its subsidiaries ("Kolmac" or the "Company") will primarily be responsible for providing transportation services for staff and clients, as well as assisting with janitorial duties to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our clinic while ensuring a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport staff and clients to and from designated locations
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of company vehicles
  • Transport staff and clients to and from designated locations. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
  • Following a predetermined schedule or route to ensure timely arrival for patient pickups and drop-offs
  • Maintaining clear and professional communication with patients, caregivers, and medical staff to coordinate transportation logistics
  • Respecting patient privacy and confidentiality always
  • Being prepared to handle emergency situations and aid as needed, such as administering first aid or contacting emergency services
  • Completing necessary paperwork or documentation related to patient transportation, mileage, and vehicle maintenance records

Janitorial Duties:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, common areas, and office spaces
  • Empty trash receptacles and disposal of waste properly
  • Monitor and assist with reordering office cleaning supplies as needed
  • Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
  • Identifying any maintenance issues or repairs needed within the facility and promptly reporting them to the appropriate personnel for resolution
  • Conducting routine vehicle inspections, ensuring cleanliness, and reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience in driving and/or transportation services preferred
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and perform janitorial tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to cleaning chemicals
