Job Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will assist customers in selecting and purchasing cannabis products, provide information about different strains and their effects, and ensure a positive and safe experience for all customers.

Duties:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers in selecting the right cannabis products based on their preferences and needs
- Provide accurate information about different strains, THC/CBD content, and consumption methods
- Educate customers on responsible cannabis use and potential effects
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensary area
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy and integrity
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries with excellent phone etiquette

Requirements:

- Must have OMMA approved employee credential or have applied for an employee credential on or before 29th February 2024.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service roles preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Familiarity with POS systems (GrowFlow preferred) for sales transactions
- Knowledge of different cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency is an asset
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
