With Kokua, you’ll get: 

• Earn up to $208/day with weekly paychecks
• $140 per day for degreed substitute teachers, $187 per day for long-term assignments, and an additional $20 on Mondays & Fridays. 
• $120 per day for non-degreed substitute teachers, while still earning the same $187 per day long-term rate with the additional $20 bonus on Mondays & Fridays
• A quick hiring process - receive an offer within 1 week of applying or less

You’ll need:

• Minimum of 48 college credit hours or 1 year(s) working with children
• Classroom experience may compensate for education requirements
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Works collaboratively and is open to observation and critical feedback. 
• Unwavering belief that a college education is possible for all children, and a commitment to developing a school-wide culture that fosters a productive, enthusiastic learning environment.

• Ability to pass state & federal background check
