Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events. From corporate meetings to fundraisers and banquets, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of each event. This role is base plus commission, hybrid remote & in-person.

Duties:
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of event planning and execution
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and objectives
- Research and select suitable venues for events
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, including caterers, decorators, and entertainers
- Manage event budgets and ensure expenses stay within the allocated budget
- Develop event timelines and schedules
- Coordinate logistics such as transportation, accommodations, and equipment rentals
- Arrange for necessary permits or licenses for events
- Oversee event setup, including decorations, seating arrangements, and audiovisual equipment
- Coordinate with staff members to ensure smooth event operations
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients before, during, and after events
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event

Experience:
- Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- Knowledge of marketing principles to promote events effectively
- Familiarity with banquet operations and fundraising strategies is a plus
- Experience in event planning or events management is highly desirable
