We are seeking for an experienced Strategic Sourcing Professional for different material groups related to Accessories.
Purpose of the Role
As the Strategic Sourcing Professional, you will be part of the global sourcing organization of KOKI Holdings and will report to one of the global category leaders.
You will take over the global lead for some material groups by yourself, for others you will act as a business interface between the Noth American entities and the global sourcing team and you will also lead some local sourcing activities.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
· Taking over the lead for several material groups within our global sourcing organization
· Define material group strategies (regional footprint of suppliers, volume bundling, risk management, …) supporting our mid- and long-term goals
· Coordinate the supplier selection process for SKUs
· Contract management with suppliers
· General supplier relationship management
· Early involvement of suppliers in R&D projects in order to accelerate our projects and support innovations and competitiveness.
· Drive competitiveness by driving benchmarks, generating cost down ideas and regular negotiations
· Convince suppliers to accept flexible logistics concepts like VMI
Qualifications/ Skills
· Extensive experience as a buyer in an international environment and already negotiated with international suppliers from Europe, Asia and America
· Self-motivated with demonstrated ability of ownership behavior
· Strong Interpersonal, Organizational and Communication skills with ability to work in a team and fast paced environment.
· Prior experience with ERP Systems.
· Strong MS Excel skills and experience with other key MS Office tools.
· Ability to and willingness to learn.
· Strong Analytical Skills.
· Bachelor degree in Economics or other relevant field
