Learning and Development Manager, Hospitality & Real Estate

Work Mode: Onsite

Opportunity

The Learningand Development Manager, Hospitality & Real Estate (H&RE), leads thelearning function within our hospitality business, identifying, developing, andimplementing learning solutions against business specific needs. This person will be passionate aboutpeople-centered learning methodologies and delivering learning solutions in anengaging and effective way.


Key Responsibilities:• Program Design: Manage and design business and functional specific learning solutions while ensuring alignment to the global Kohler Learning strategy. Incorporate appropriate learning strategies, best practices, and delivery methodologies/channels that engage learners and achieve desired outcomes.

• Needs Analysis: Engage with leaders and stakeholders to clarify needs, conducting learning needs analyses with clearly established and aligned goals and outcomes.

• Program Delivery: Deliver solutions that meet business needs. Facilitate learning experiences to drive behavior change and meaningful professional development, fostering inclusion and psychological safety for all employees.

• Program Effectiveness: Create and monitor learning solution engagement and effectiveness measures. Leverage program data and performance results to align with stakeholders and iterate on programming as needed.

• Communication: Develop communications plans in the tone and voice of Group President H&RE, sharing key learning program information and highlighting key milestones in change management.

• Onboarding: Deliver a gracious onboarding training program and experience that prepares new hires for their role and demonstrates the luxury hospitality experience. 

• Demonstrate flexibility and agility in reacting to changing business needs.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Learning & Development, Teaching or Education.
    5 years' experience as Learning and Development Manager.
  • L&D experience within the Hospitality industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, facilitation skills, & instructional design skills.
  • Natural ability to spread and influence positive energy. High emotional intelligence.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) proficiency a plus.
  • Experience working in a luxury service environment is preferred.
