Kohler is Growing! We are up and running at our new “state of the art” 1 million-square-foot manufacturing facility on 200 acres in the industrial corridor of Casa Grande, AZ. 
We are looking for passionate talent to join our team. 

As a Distribution Coordinator you will:

• Coordinate and schedule all outbound and inbound shipments from the Casa Grande plant to customer warehouses, showrooms, or job sites.
• Be responsible for the overall accuracy and integrity of shipment and carrier data within SAP, Kohler Transportation Management System (TMS) and customer TMS portals.

Specific Responsibilities 

• Coordinate carrier selection and equipment scheduling.
• Coordinate all the inbound shipments, including the other areas requirements.
• Assign carriers to shipments using established transportation routing guides.
• Provide daily trailer status notifications to carriers for all loaded and empty trailers in the yard.
• Coordinate with carriers to insure the maintenance of trailer pools, timely turn of loaded trailers and scheduling of pickups.
• Publish daily Shipment Status Reports to the operation detailing shipment carrier assignments, equipment availability and pickup appointment times.
• Assign carriers and schedule pickup of Collect freight utilizing customer TMS portals or other established means of customer communication.
• Ensure a high level of data accuracy within the Yard Management System (YMS) by coordinating with the Shipping Department, yard spotters and security personnel regarding proper training and execution of driver check-ins, check-outs, and yard audits.
• Document incidents resulting in damage to Kohler or commercial carrier equipment within the yard and forward information to the appropriate internal parties.
• Follow up any claim to the carriers.
• Lead any customer claim related to the transportation
• Publish operational reports as requested.
• Review the inventory coverage to anticipate any issue at least in the following 2 days.
