Opportunity

Work with suppliers to assure material supply to support plant operations, manage inventories to service customer demand, and perform day-to-day administrative tasks related to the Purchasing, Materials, and Accounts Payable functions.

Specific Responsibilities

• Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained through the development and implementation of tools/systems to service customer demands, both internal and external, by monitoring inventory levels, reorder points, lead times, visual pull systems, Kanbans, and demand levels.
• Assist with Accounts Payable, including ensuring invoices do not go past due, and handling issues that arise between Goods Receipt quantities and invoice amounts.
• Manage Open Order Reports and ensure incoming orders are adhering to target delivery dates.
• Assist in managing suppliers.
• Assist in maintaining close surveillance on suppliers as it relates to quality, cost, delivery, and invoicing.
• Material expediting and record keeping duties.
• Other duties as directed.
