POSITION SUMMARY

KKR is seeking an Operations Professional to join its Loan Servicing Strategies Group under the Global Markets Operations Team with a focus on Asset Based Finance investments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to build a career in investment operations at a reputable buy-side firm. The role is based in Dallas and reports to the Vice President within Investment Control at KKR.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of relevant experience at a financial institution with exposure to residential mortgage data. The position will support the Mortgage Loan desk of the Residential Real Estate team and will work directly with the investment team to assist with data management related to its existing $11bn portfolio. The role requires constant communication with deal team and various stakeholders and business groups, so strong communication and relationship building skills are highly desired.

RESPONSIBILITIIES

  • Support Residential Real Estate team within the Asset Based Finance group with data management related to residential mortgage loan
  • Own and maintain monthly remittance process; troubleshooting cash issues with trading counterparties, mortgage servicers and middle office
  • Manage database of loan data, including live servicer feeds, for internal and external reporting
  • Identify, analyze, and correct data discrepancies to ensure data integrity on the existing portfolio and produce reports to monitor portfolio performance
  • Assist in designing standard operating procedures and requirements for supporting technology
  • Provide real time support to Asset Based Finance investment professionals

QUALIFCATIONS

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years of experience in Financial Services with exposure to residential mortgage data
  • Strong personal initiative, exceptional organization & attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
  • A track record in accuracy and in meeting deadlines in a fast paced, growing work environment with high expectations
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Team-oriented with strong integrity and professionalism

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Residential mortgage data/collateral experience within Financial Service
  • Experience with various mortgage loan types, collateral, data and tape-cracking preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel. Working experience in SQL & other programming languages and experience using LMS not required but valued
  • Experience and track record in project management
