2023 Summer Analyst Program - Global Macro Balance Sheet & Risk (Private Wealth Partners Macro Team)

New York, NY

The Private Wealth Partners Macro Team is seeking a Summer Analyst, based in New York, to assist with delivering insights to KKR’s wealth clients across macroeconomics, strategic asset allocation, and portfolio construction. Key responsibilities include developing and synthesizing asset allocation insights and thematic research conducted in close partnership with teams across the firm. The ideal candidate works well in a team-driven environment, is highly motivated, intelligent, has sound judgment and has a demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. They have excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizational skills. They are highly analytical and detail oriented, with problem solving capability, have a desire to work in a team environment with dynamic roles, as well as an ability to work independently. They are intellectually curious and have a high level of accountability. Background in finance or economics is preferred.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role will graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business, or mathematics in December 2023 – June 2024, or have extensive coursework and work experience directly relevant to this position. In addition, they will have:

  • Exceptionally strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills
  • Experience building financial models, statistical models and producing forecasts
  • An ability to synthesize findings into presentations and write research summaries and reports
  • Relationship management and interpersonal skills that will allow them to work across many verticals successfully
  • A team-oriented, collegial approach, with a positive attitude and a willingness to help out wherever necessary
  • Intellectual curiosity and self-motivation
  • A desire to take ownership of projects and stay with them until completion
  • An ability to prioritize time efficiently while managing multiple demands and projects and remaining attentive to detail
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Statistical Software Programs and familiarity with Bloomberg
  • Exposure to Haver and Python to analyze large data sets

This is the expected annual base salary range for this New York-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.

Base Salary Range

$100,000—$110,000 USD
