Koger Home Care is seeking a Children's Personal Care Assistant in Columbia, SC area (Northeast). The participant is a school-age male who has a bubbly, fun-loving, and friendly personality. He loves to talk and interact with others, he loves to play with his hero action figures. We are looking of a CPCA candidate who is well-versedin working with children with autism and/or developmental disorders. The CPCA will perform various ADLs assistance such as full or partial bed bath, dressing, mouth care, grooming care, light housekeeping tasks, companion service, meal preparation, performing medication reminders, pick-up prescriptions, planning/implementing educational activities, etc. The CPCA caregiver must havea positive attitude, experience in child care, and be able to redirect and provide prompting. The CPCA will be cross-trained to provide services for our adult clients as well. 

The caregiver candidate must have a minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable professional children caregiver experience, pass the 10-year SC SLED Background Check/Drug Screening; and have a negative PPD test. The CPCA caregiver candidate must have a valid SC Driver's License, auto insurance, and a personal vehicle. Additionally, the PCA candidate must be COVID-19 vaccinated, and be able to work with pets in the home.
