Körber Technologies, Inc., a Sales and Service Company serving the North American Tobacco Industry, has an outstanding career opportunity available for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will independently complete diverse and varied functions, ensuring quality workmanship associated with the installation, repair, and maintenance of any of the equipment and facilities.

Your role in our team

• You will install and complete repair of any piece of equipment in company.
• You will repair, in a timely fashion, any of the plant equipment and facilities.
• You will plan, coordinate, and schedule maintenance work to ensure timely completion of repairs and projects, with minimum disruption and downtime.
• You will maintain the preventative maintenance program on manufacturing equipment.
• You will ensure all code and regulation specifications are met in the installation and repair of equipment and facilities.
• You will maintain good housekeeping in the maintenance stock area and at work sites.
• You will perform work safely, adhering to company safety standards.
• You will assist outside service technicians in the installation and repair of equipment and facilities.
• You will place orders for replacement parts with appropriate vendors, upon approval of management.
• You will maintain an economical inventory of spare parts for equipment and facilities.

Your profile

• You are a high school graduate or equivalent, with state journeyman certification as an Electrician.
• You have thorough knowledge of electronics troubleshooting, machinery and facilities repair, plumbing, welding, and all other maintenance-related work.
• You have at least three years of experience in maintenance or related work.
