Kodak Alaris Colorado is the home of Kodak Moments Thermal Media Manufacturing and the Windsor Regional Distribution Center.

The operations are responsible for the manufacturing and distribution of thermal media for photographic applications.

POSITION SUMMARY

This operator will work with a small team to run a Kampf (Level 2) slitter and associated equipment to convert wide master rolls of receiver paper to smaller customer size rolls to support imaging media for Kodak Alaris consumer thermal printers.

This position requires teamwork and interaction with individuals to achieve department production goals.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Retrieve master rolls from staging area.
  • Load master rolls onto slitter.
  • Load cores into delivery chutes.
  • Operate slitter, slitting master rolls into customer rolls.
  • Remove expired cores, packaging customer rolls.
  • Move pallets of finished rolls to roll storage area
  • Visual identification of quality defects.
  • Perform weekly equipment and surrounding area cleaning.

SKILLS AND / OR KNOWLEDGE SPECIFICATIONS

  • Willingness and ability to work in team environment
  • Basic computer familiarity and ability to learn and perform essential computer transactions
  • Ability to communicate in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow Temporary Instructions, Standard Work and Work Instructions.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, stand, lift up to 25 lbs
  • Ability and willingness to work in an ever changing work environment
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required by product demand
  • Capable of working a 12.0 hr rotating shift schedule.
  • Orientation toward detail and thoroughness

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE SPECIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role desired

$19.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
