Position Overview:

The Systems Administrator / IT Support will be an integral member of a team providing systems support to KODA headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows servers and desktop devices in accordance with DISA STIG requirements.
• Supports networks and devices. Ability to configure networking and troubleshoot network issues.
• Conduct day-to-day system administration of the hardware and software for a classified system.
• Conducts vulnerability scans and remediates identified vulnerabilities.
• Provide hands-on system administration support, system maintenance, and operations support.
• Supports building, configuring, and troubleshooting software and hardware enhancements, application deployments, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Supports diagnosis and corrects computer and network system issues.
• Responds to technical issues as they arise.
• Ensure consistent technical direction and understanding between staff.
• Assist in the design of top-level IT architecture trades and development.
• Ensure consistent IT processes, practices, and documentation across the system.
• Operations support: Five days a week, providing daily support for development and operation assets.
• Perform other IT duties as assigned.
• Data collection, documentation, and reporting on all the above responsibilities as required.
• Ability to interface with other team members and senior leaders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Associate degree and 2-5 years of experience
• The candidate must be able to install, troubleshoot, repair, operate, and maintain computers and network equipment.
• Must have the ability to build and maintain systems, both physical and virtual.
• Must have experience with Windows System Administration in domain-joined and standalone environments.
• Experience working in a classified environment supporting.
• Candidates must comply with the experience, training, and certification requirements for DoD 8570 IAT level II employment (e.g., Security CE or higher)

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Experience working with VMWare and VirtualBox.
• Knowledge of RHEL 6, 7, and 8.
• Experience scripting with Powershell
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and switch configuration.

Clearance Requirement:

• Active Secret Clearance: The ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance is desired.
