• Supervise, manage and direct department employees to ensure they are following safe food handling practices and regulatory compliance, while producing quality products.
• Assist Manager for staffing and continuous improvement of their department through training, coaching, leading, and supervising.
• Enforce Company policies, procedures, regulations and practices, and GMP’s throughout the plant.
• Produce and distribute reports as required.
• Ensure customer standards and expectations are met.
• Assist in relationship communication with USDA Inspectors/Management Staff and Production Team members/Management Staff.
• Assist with interview, selection, training, onboarding and coaching of new and existing supervisors and technicians.
• Lead and assist with the preparation of 3^rd party and internal audits.
• All other relevant duties to the position

• Bachelor’s degree in Poultry, Food, or Animal Science or other closely related field of study required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• HACCP certification.
• 3 years experience in a QA/HACCP/Food Safety supervisory role, preferably in the poultry or meat processing environment.
• Proficient technology, computer, math and analysis skills. 
• English language skills required; bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred.

• You will be working within a poultry processing plant.
• You’ll need to be able to walk, twist, bend and lift various weights.
