Koch Technology Solutions (KTS), a Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) company, is looking to add a Senior Process Engineer to our growing team in North America. This position will be located in Wichita, KS.

The successful candidate will help KTS create long-term value for customers and society, pursue continuous innovation, and expand the business into new areas.

As a member of the North American Execution team, you will also support sales, develop our technologies, and helps build our growing technology portfolio. We can combine our exclusive technologies, expertise, and capabilities with those of other KES companies to provide overall solutions to optimize capital investments and existing manufacturing assets.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with clients, detailed engineering contactors and vendors, as well as colleagues in other engineering disciplines, operations, and the wider Koch businesses.
• Be part of the multi-disciplinary team developing engineering design packages for fast-paced license projects.
• Be responsible for developing process deliverables e.g., PFDs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, instrument/valve schedules, pressure relief datasheets, to meet project requirements.
• Identify and implement process technology improvements in existing technologies and support the development of new technologies as they are integrated into KTS.
• Develop technical knowledge and take ownership of process areas, participating in safety reviews such as HAZOP/LOPA.
• Support clients through analysis and optimization of plant performance and review of vendor proposals.
• Participate in plant commissioning, operator training and troubleshooting on customer sites overseas, ensuring we meet our commitments to customers and our performance guarantees.
• Play an active role in transforming the business, striving to find new ways to create the greatest value.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements (Basic Qualifications):

• Direct experience with process engineering design packages OR experience in a manufacturing environment developing and implementing process engineering solutions
• Experience using process simulations software, such as HTRI, PEL and Aspen Plus.
• Willing and able to travel both domestic and international, approximately up to 25% of the time. There may be periods of increased travel to meet customer needs.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience working in a Principle Based Management (PBM) culture.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, prefer Chemical or Process Engineering.
• Minimum of ten years of process engineering and/or design experience
• Experience supporting technology development and execution.
• Experience with lithium extraction and/or water treatment.
• Experience with HAZID/HAZOP and LOPA Studies and methodology
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team leader that respects others and values diversity.
