Koa Restoration & Maintenance is Hiring a Director of Operations - Oahu Near Honolulu, HI

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic-minded professional to join our organization as the Director of Operations. As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our company and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all functions. Previous Janitorial Management experience a must!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute operational strategies: Create and implement effective operational strategies to enable the company to achieve its goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous process and operational excellence.
  • Streamline operations: Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement within various departments, including but not limited to production, supply chain, customer service, and finance. Develop and implement plans to streamline operations and increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage and optimize resources: Oversee resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization of manpower, equipment, and assets. Develop and maintain an operational budget, and monitor and control expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Foster collaboration and communication: Promote effective communication and collaboration among different departments and teams to drive alignment and synergy. Serve as a bridge between different functional areas, ensuring the smooth flow of information and coordination.
  • Ensure quality and compliance: Establish and maintain standards of quality control and compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and best practices. Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction: Develop and implement strategies to improve customer experience, satisfaction, and retention. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, addressing their needs and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team: Recruit, train, and develop a talented operations team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Provide guidance, support, and feedback to team members, promoting their professional growth and success.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices: Continuously monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in operations management. Stay updated on emerging practices or technologies that may enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum experience of 2 years' facilities management in the janitorial industry.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of operational processes, systems, and best practices.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute plans effectively to achieve goals.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software tools and technology, including MS Office and operations management systems.

Pay:Starting at $80,000 annually, based on experience
