Position Title: Crisis Intervention Specialist
Department: KARM HomeCare Center
Reports To: Navigator of Health and Wellness
Status: Part Time/Non-Exempt
Crisis Intervention Specialist (CIS) Position Description:
To safeguard and promote the welfare of our KARM guests who are experiencing acute and chronic mental health episodes. This ministry will include triaging assessments through the Crossroads First Encounter experience. The CIS will be point person for behavioral units discharging after regular hours. The CIS will provide crisis mobilization and case management coordination with care coordinators.
This position will provide essential coverage during high volume hours as guests are entering for the evening and overnight.
