The Knoch School District is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Principal assigned at Knoch Middle School.

This position will be available in July 2024.

PA K-12 principal certification is required.

A minimum of five years of professional and/or administrative experience is preferred.

Enrollment 481, 6-8.

Requirements: Comprehensive knowledge of the teaching-learning process and effective instructional strategies; possess and demonstrate strong instructional leadership, effective communication, exceptional management, and organizational skills; demonstrated record of experience with data analysis, data-driven instruction for improved student achievement, knowledge of best practices in instructional and assessment strategies; knowledge of common core standards, curriculum mapping, teacher observation model, staff development, and comprehensive school improvement planning; strong interpersonal communication and technology skills; advanced understanding of effective behavioral methods and approaches for educating middle school students.

Additional requirements: Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and special needs students. Act 34, 114, 126, and 151 clearances are required.
