• Review major transactions, including investments, acquisitions and financing arrangements, among others, and determine appropriate U.S. GAAP treatment through use of research tools and application of guidance and provide written documentation of relevant conclusions• Monitor the standard setting authorities for changes in GAAP or SEC reporting and communicate changes to the financial reporting group and other various accounting personnel• Interpret current accounting policies to provide clarification of accounting requirements as they relate to specific questions or transactions and provide written documentation of relevant conclusions• Assist with financial reporting work in order to meet financial reporting deadlines
