Knit-Rite has an immediate opening in Kansas City, KS for a Site Technology Support Team member! Knit-Rite is growing and our support Team will be an essential partner to support our strategic plans and our people!

What You’ll Get To Do

Our Technology Support Team will assist customers with technical issues or questions relating to computer hardware or software devices. Follow IT policies and procedures using ITIL framework. Ensure the stable operation of the organization's IT infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas.

The Essentials

• 1 year minimum of client-focused and an exceptional customer service mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• English language skills. Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Strong Microsoft Skills – Win-7, Win-10, Win-11
• Strong O365 Support with TEAM’s and TEAM’s voice
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Strong mobile skills, iOS, and Android
• PC & Desktop hardware investigative and upgrade skills (hardware & software)
• Basic knowledge of Server operating systems 2003 to 2019
• Basic knowledge of TEAMs Voice & VOIP solutions skills
• Familiarity with Active Directory, file shares, security, DHCP, DNS
• Familiarity with Firewall and Network skills including WIFI and not limited to Cisco, Fortinet, UniFi
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Knowledge of Windows and MAC platforms
• A strong willingness to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities in the role.
• Understanding of IT support / service delivery processes (e.g., ITIL).
• Experience in supporting Workstation, Tablet and Smartphone environment, with Wireless and LAN technology.
• Knowledge in a variety of IT technologies including but not limited to desktops/operating systems (XP, Win7, Win10 & 11), LAN, Remote VPN connectivity, Office365, server technology, business applications systems (ERP), iOS and Android mobile devices, network printing and desktop enabled printers.
• Willingness to support new applications, hardware, and training deployments.
• Ticketing system experience (ex. GLPI Service Management system)
