We are a family owned business who has been serving the community for 71 years! We are a specialty meat market and grocery store.

We are looking for a dedicated individual who is reliable, flexible and has transportation.

Customer Service : Greets Customers by performing the following duties but not limited to :

• Promote, work and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Knight's Companies : Our mission is to exceed our customers' expectations of food, drinks and service in an environment that feels like home.
• Answers Phone calls and all customer questions
• Take curbside orders and fill curbside orders
• Ring up customer orders
• Follow standards for personnel performance and customer service
• Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests' needs and support the operation of the market
• Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

Non-Customer Service / Food Handling : handle all duties listed below but not limited to :

• Follow all sanitation protocols
• Handle cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with market policies and procedures
• Stock shelves with products and price orders
• Wrap and package food
• Forward Filling on all shelves to help maintain appearance of market
• Work with our Marketing Director for any specials or promotions Knight's Southside Market would like to do.
• Clean and mop floor at end of day
• Wipe down all cooler door
• Clean all glass doors
• Maintain front area and sweep outside
• Record cooler temps at the beginning and end of shifts
• Be knowledgeable of Southside Market policies and follow all orders
• Communicate to Market Manager for equipment maintenance and repairs, and coordinate a variety of services, such as waste removal and pest control
