Knightdale Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered or Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team and provide quality medical care and excellent customer service to our patients and clients. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Provide general practice wellness and critical care skills to patients
• Provide care to hospitalized patients
• Conduct lab diagnostics as necessary
• Take radiographs and assist with imaging procedures
• Place IV catheters and monitor fluid therapy
• Provide client education and patient care skills
• Maintain accurate medical records

Requirements:

• Veterinary assistant or technician certification (RVT, LVT or CVT)
• Good technical skills with the ability to work independently or as a team member
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Cornerstone software is a plus

Saturday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
