Propane Bobtail Driver / Service and Install Technician
Bobtail Driver - (Requires TX Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements prior to hiring. Also requires Bobtail Certification from TX. Railroad Commission, but this may be obtained shortly after hiring.) Duties include:

• Conduct truck inspections with proper documentation

• Fill propane cylinders at filling station

• Deliver and dispense propane
• Conduct leak tests

• Change regulators and thermocouples
• Maintain proper customer documentation

• Represent company to customers with friendly and professional demeanor

• Assist in propane installation and repair (under the direct supervision of a certified service and install technician)

• Other duties as assigned

Service and Install Technician - (Requires Propane Service and Installation Certificate from the TX Railroad Commission, but this can be obtained after hiring as long as the candidate already has Bobtail certification, and TX Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements. Duties include:

• Installation of propane systems

• Repair and maintenance of propane systems

• Conduct cathodic protection testing
• Maintain proper documentation

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Texas Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements (prior to hiring)

• Bobtail Certification from TX Railroad Commission (preferred prior to hiring but must be obtained with 30 days of hiring)

• Minimum age of 21
• Clean driving record

• Service and Install Certification from TX Railroad Commission (preferred, but can be obtained at a later time as long as qualifications above are met)

• Ability to lift 75 pounds, climb in and out of truck, pull hose, stand, stoop, dig, etc.

• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather and driving conditions

• Willingness to work some Saturdays and to work overtime in winter months when needed
