Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for ensuring that irrigation systems operate efficiently, conserve water, and meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip irrigation, and controllers.
Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify leaks, equipment malfunction, and other issues.
Program and adjust irrigation controllers to optimize water usage and meet the specific needs of plants and landscaping.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing nozzles, valves, and piping.
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with irrigation systems and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with landscape designers and contractors to ensure that irrigation systems are installed according to specifications and design plans.
Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment inventory.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in irrigation installation, maintenance, and repair.
Proficiency in operating irrigation equipment and tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Note: This position requires physical stamina as it involves lifting heavy equipment, digging trenches, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
