Knight King Delivery, a cornerstone of delivery excellence in Northeast Washington DC, is expanding its team. We're seeking dedicated individuals for our Manager on Duty (MOD) positions, crucial for overseeing our delivery operations. Opportunities are available for both full-time weekday and part-time weekend schedules, with particular emphasis on providing seamless service to our customers.

Positions Available:

1) Full-Time AM MOD

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Compensation: $19/hr

2) Full-Time PM MOD

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM; Friday, 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM

Compensation: $20/hr plus a night differential

3) Weekend AM MOD

Schedule: Saturday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Sunday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: $18.50/hr

4) Weekend PM MOD

Schedule: Saturday, 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM; Sunday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Compensation: $19.50/hr

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure efficient and effective delivery operations during assigned shifts.

Facilitate seamless transitions between shifts, working in tandem with other MODs.

Provide leadership and support to the driver team, including managing overflow deliveries.

Promptly address customer inquiries and resolve any service issues.

Monitor and report on performance metrics, identifying areas for operational improvement.

Uphold and enforce company policies and compliance with legal standards.

Qualifications:

Proven leadership experience, preferably in logistics or a related field.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication abilities for team management and customer service.

Ability to independently navigate high-pressure situations.

Valid driver's license, registration, and insurance; fuel-efficient vehicles preferred for operational efficiency.

Compensation:

Hourly wages commensurate with experience and shift times.

Cash bonuses for meeting delivery milestones, plus 50% of delivery fees as additional earnings.
