The Medford operation is hiring a Contract Administration Manager to oversee the contract administration function and provide administrative support to the Contracting department. You will be the liaison between the Contracting and Accounting departments providing input and information as necessary for the purpose of job cost accounting and work in progress (WIP). Major Responsibilities Include: -Manage all aspects of the Contract Administration process from start to finish. -Provide leadership & support to division operations to ensure timely receipt of required documents. -Provide information and support to the executive, management and professional staff as required. -Provide necessary customer service to various federal & state agencies, customers and vendors. -Respond to inquiries and questions (both inter-company and from customers/clients) regarding prevailing wage issues, EEO responsibilities, certified payroll and project administration. -Supervise contract administration clerk and receptionist. -Other duties as assigned. | |||
Minimum Qualifications: | |||
Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent field of study and three years of experience in heavy-highway construction; or six years of experience in heavy-highway construction with three years in a supervisory capacity. Skilled with Excel and proficient with standard Microsoft Office applications. Mathematical competence and knowledge of basic accounting functions, including A/R, A/P, P/R and G/L. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, within the organization, vendors and customers. Work well under pressure, within tight deadlines and provide leadership to ensure deadlines are met. Experience with JD Edwards accounting software preferred. Able to work extended hours in the construction season and for month-end close. | |||
